Jessica swept the 2024-2025 awards season, in which she took home an Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice, Indie Spirit, SAG, and BAFTA TV Award for her recent starring role of Martha in the Netflix limited series, Baby Reindeer, opposite Richard Gadd.
The seven-part series is based on the Olivier Award winning show about writer, actor and comedian Richard Gadd’s true-life experience of being stalked. Baby Reindeer has received unprecedented international acclaim, including six Emmy wins, two Golden Globe wins, and one SAG win.
On stage, Jessica played the role of Mrs. Jewkes opposite Cate Blanchett in the National Theatre production of When We Have Sufficiently Tortured Each Other. Other credits for the National Theatre include Much Ado About Nothing and Major Barbara.
Jessica played Siân James in the Golden Globe and BAFTA nominated feature film Pride (Pathé), and was in the BBC series' White Heat, MotherFatherSon and What Remains, as well as guest-starring in the Doctor Who episode Partners in Crime.
Other screen credits in recent years include Inside No. 9 (BBC), Back (Channel 4), Prime Suspect 1973 (ITV), Victoria Wood's That Day We Sang (BBC), Law and Order: UK (ITV), Peter Kosminsky’s The State (Channel 4), Trollied (Sky One) and Fortitude (Sky Atlantic). More recently, she played one of the starring roles of Diane in three series of the hot BBC comedy The Outlaws.
Jessica stars in Steven Soderbergh’s feature, The Christophers which premiered at TIFF in September to widespread acclaim.
Her upcoming projects include George Jaques’ sophomore feature Sunny Dancer and Mark Forster’s Anxious People opposite Angelina Jolie.
Next year, we’ll see Jessica starring as Dame Washalot in an adaptation of Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree.
