Kate Rhodes James, CSA, CDG, is one of the UK’s best-known casting directors who has worked across film and television for over twenty years.
Kate has cast innumerable large-scale projects, such as House of The Dragon (HBO), Prime Target (Apple), My Lady Jane (Amazon). Interview With The Vampire (AMC), Line of Duty (BBC), Bodyguard (BBC), and Sherlock (BBC). Upcoming work includes Alien: Earth for FX/HULU, 121212 for Apple and Believe Me for ITV.
Kate has extensively worked as Casting Director alongside Ridley Scott, with recent high-profile projects including Gladiator 2 (Paramount Pictures), Napoleon (Apple), House of Gucci (MGM), and The Last Duel (20th Century Studios). She is also working on the upcoming Ridley Scott film Dog Stars, featuring Jacob Elordi.
